The Friendly Society General Fund
Donations to the Friendly Society’s general fund are used in projects that align with our five key causes: access to education, access to clean water, access to improved sanitation, access to family healthcare, and promoting environmental stewardship.
Girls who finish school in developing areas are less likely to turn to prostitution for employment and have planned families.
Boys who finish school in developing areas are less likely to join gangs, religious extremist groups, and migrate for economic opportunities.
Access to improved sanitation like these outhouses prevents the spread of diseases like cholera, dysentery, typhoid.
Investing in tree planting and forest management helps fight climate change and create sustainable jobs for local populations.
Access to family planning and basic health care reduces mother and infant mortality rates.
Access to clean water is a human right.
